Monday Bundles Make That Mundane Monday All Better…

Some scary and not so scary options in this week’s set of bundles. This week’s IndieGala Every Monday Bundle has seven games for $1.89 (nice!), 24 hours until that price goes up.

This week’s Humble Flash Sale is an all-horror themed bundle that will run you a few more bucks for the good stuff, but it’s worth every penny you’ll spend. And you’ll definitely do that spending more than a penny part, I’d say.

Finally, Bundle Stars wants you to learn to like the Kalypso. The Kalypso Games Bundle, that is (oh, I’m SO funny today!). This particular deal will only set you back $3.99 and nets you TEN complete games and 14 DLC packs (yikes), meaning it’s the winner today if you’re into sheer content versus cost. Yes, it’s a shorter than usual post this week, but that’s because I’m in the middle of a review and need to keep it brief. Back in a bit – go get yourselves some games!

Frankenstein Pumpkins? I Bet They’ll Have Universal Appeal…

Oh, it’s a holiday today (a now controversial one to some folks), it’s gloomy out and I’m staring at a pile of stuff to do. Horrors! Anyway, between me ignoring all the big “important” gaming stories the internet is abuzz about these past few weeks (Corruption in “journalism”! TMI Sex stories! Entitled jerks wanting the impossible.. or else!) and me having way too much to do (which is why I ignore the internet), my brain is upside down and needing a rest. Trust me, I had three cups of coffee already today and it’s not even firing a spark plug upstairs.

That said, THIS story got me smiling for a bit this morning… to a point. California farmer Tony Dighera is probably going to become a very wealthy man in a short time thanks to a little ingenuity. I won’t bore you with a rewrite, just click here if you haven’t see what he’s whipped up. I just hope to heck Universal Studios or whomever owns the rights to that famous face knows this and is a good sport, or Mr. Dighera’s going to be supplying some lawyers or all of Universal Studios’ theme parks with those Pumpkins forever anda day (and a half). If they’re cool, they should pay him to make all the rest of the classic Universal monster lineup, I say. Although, at that current price point of at least $75 per pumpkin, only those set to leave the planet for Mars at some point will be able to afford one of these babies…

Let’s See Now. It’s Monday… So That Means BUNDLES!

Another short day for posts? Yeah, well. Pepcom calls and I just HAVE to answer. That trip downtown to tech-land will reveal some goodies to scribble about for my holiday gift guide, so getting all dolled up for that event been taking up my time today. Anyway, you want cheap games, you got ’em! That IndieGala Every Monday Bundle above features six indie games for $1.99 and yes, all are worth much more than that. I particular like Pretentious for its simple story and visuals along with the wordplay:

Get $50 worth of games and game soundtracks for between $6 and $10 or pick less games and pay what you want. Of course, more is always better, right? Some of you will want this set of games for all that Anomaly: Warzone content, but I say get this deal for the non-stop hilarity that is Funky Smugglers:

The IndieGala Every Monday Bundle this week is $1.89 and consists of three indie adventure games and three quirky kind of retro-style games. It’s a nice mix of randomness that should keep you entertained in short spurts or for a particularly boring weekend. The nice thing about all of these games is you’re not forced to play them all within a particular time span. Bundles of Joy For Your Monday Will Make Your Backlog Ache!

Humble Flash Sale, Meet IndieGala Every Monday Bundle! You two play nice, now. Well, I’d betting they’ll each be too busy with themselves to notice each other in that sandbox, but hey – I tried. Anyway, this weeks Humble Flash Sale bundle is So Cute! No, seriously, that’s the name of the bundle. Whaddaya mean you don’t believe me? That’s what that link is for, silly! Click it and watch your wallet flit out of your pocket or purse and fly around the room before your credit card goes zipping into your hand and you end up with the five games and three soundtracks in this bundle. Cute stuff does that to some people, I hear.

As for that Every Monday Bundle, this week’s a DOOZY. $1.89 nets you six games including the deep retro greatness of Eschalon Book I & II, the incredibly creepy Five Nights at Freddy’s, and three other indie games: Stonerid, Memories of a Vagabond and the oddly titled Me & Postapocalypse 2: Scraping. Yikes. Here I am, feeling wonderfully dopey for not being able to get any work don on this holiday and BAM! IndieGala gives me something to write home about. Okay, a few other things happened in my inbox to jar me out of my funk, but I’d forgotten that rain or shine, every Monday IS an IndieGala Monday! Anyway, six games for a measly $1.89 is a STEAL, so go break into the IG bank while net breaking YOUR own bank (or a sweat, unless you’re in a hot place already with no working fan or cold beverages).
