Sega Launches Dreamcast Classics Over PSN, XBLA

Boom. That's all you need to know, folks.
OK, OK I'll toss in a few details…
Sonic Adventure NOW (and Crazy Taxi in November) available over PSN or Xbox Live are the first two games in Sega's re-master plan to capture the hearts and minds of gamers young and old while keeping that classic Sega flame alive and kicking amongst us hardcore Sega-philes out there. Sega is also promising even more titles are coming soon (yes!) and I'm definitely all for that. I'm gathering The new DC line will consist of Sega-produced titles only, so I'm hoping to see a few racers in the lineup (Daytona USA, Ferrari F355 Challenge) along with Sonic Adventure 2 and maybe even a RPG or two (Skies of Arcadia, anyone?)
Gallery Update: Superstars V8 Racing

Six shiny new screens and two neat panel montages from Milestone's upcoming budget-priced PS3 exclusive racer, set to hit PSN this October thanks to the fine folks at O-Games. It may be a mere twenty bucks, but the game is packed with more than enough features to keep racing fans busy bees buzzing around tracks while they're waiting for a certain other high profile game on Sony's console. Love the four panel shots here, by the way! The make me want to go out and buy a new car even though I can't drive. Yeah, yeah… I live in NYC and the subway is my ride of choice.
Full game features ripped from the press release are just a click away…
Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath PS3-Bound In 2011 Via PSN

In more fantastic gaming news, one of the best (and supremely under-appreciated at retail) original Xbox games is headed to the PlayStation 3 next year, courtesy of UK developer JAW (Just Add Water), creators of the excellent PSN/PSP “retro” arcade shooter, Gravity Crash. The unique “western” themed Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath was a single player focused first-person shooter/action game (with the ability to switch to third-person on the fly), excellent enemy AI, a capture or kill bounty system and an innovative “live ammo” aspect (among other amazingly well-designed features ahead of their time). And the story was great, also (in case you hadn't guessed). Despite excellent reviews, the game didn't perform that well at retail and soon afterward the Oddworld series dropped off the map until recently.
Sega Rolls Out Vanquish Demo for PS3, Xbox 360

Sega has finally unleashed the incredible Vanquish demo onto PSN and Xbox LIVE to-day, so you know what you need to do, right? If you're a supported of the retail rinse cycle, GameStop is offering up a nifty pre-order bonus in the form of an exclusive Tri-Weapons Pack, so you also know what needs to be done there as well (right?). Hell, based on the screen shots alone, methinks Sega and Platinum Games will go platinum on this one, folks…

Konami Gamers Night 2010 (With Hudson, Too!)
Konami Gamers' Night NYC – 2010 Edition
About 20 titles were on display from both new Castlevanias, two console classics remade for today's consoles, a surprisingly fun wrestling game and plenty of guaranteed musical and mini-game hits headed for the Wii as well as the upcoming Move and Kinect peripherals. I'll be covering a few of these titles in depth over the next week or so with galleries and/or hands-on impressions (denoted by *), but for now, here's a quick rundown of what was on the floor:
