I was laughing when I saw this trailer because I have too many memories of the arcade original and I bet not a lot of gamers this one is targeted to even know where the theme song in the original game comes from. Oh well – if the game is as cool as the first one in terms of action and replay value, I’m all in and then some…

If you’ve got wee ones around ages 6 – 12 who are online savvy and enjoy a bit of allowed and supervised social game time, you’ve probably heard of Moshi Monsters, one of the latest (and hugest) virtual pet worlds online today. 65 million registered users is nothing to sneeze and and now Mind Candy is taking the fun to Nintendo DS and 3DS systems on October 30, 2012 with Moshi Monsters: Moshlings Theme Park, which looks to be one of those interesting hybrid games that lets players interact offline while also granting them access to new online content through a few fun means.
Konami On Air Gamescom 2012 Wrap-Up: Raiden The Wave (And How)
Konami revealed a nice selection of upcoming titles at Gamescom this year and even had their own web show to promote the goods. Here’s a look at the three post show videos for each day of the show as well as the pre-show peek behind the scenes video that kicked things off. Between Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 – Mirror of Fate, and a few other cool games, I’m going to be glued to my TV for a nice chunk of time, that’s for sure. I just hope I don’t go even more broke stocking up on extra controllers…

Spy Hunter Returns For Another Blast Down Memory Lane
Granted, we’re talking newer consoles and handhelds here for this reboot, but It’s nice to see that slick, speed-busting, gadget-ridden Interceptor back in action (and no “The Rock” mucking up the works this time, thankfully!). Granted, car combat as a genre is sort of flat at the moment, but there’s always been a primal thrill in most Spy Hunter games that keeps me playing until the end. Then again, I go back to the original arcade game, so maybe it’s just me trying to play catch up with nostalgia or something. More on this one as my own spies dig up what they can…
