Bundle Fest Deals 4 & 5 Offer Up Pains, Trains, & More Awesome Deals…

Ha! See what I did there? No? Oh well. I’ll let you off the hook this time because I just KNOW you were distracted by one of both of these awesome Bundle Stars deals. Go let of some Steam with the Trainz Bundle, which gives you Trainz Simulator 12 and eight DLC packs for a mere $3.99 (try getting a real train ticket for that price!). This surprisingly addictive set of train simulations and construction tools allow anyone to run their own railroad and even hop online to share content with other users anywhere in the world.

If, on the other hand you’re in the mood for a lot less train travel and a great deal more fantasy and horror coming your way, well… the Night Dive Bundle has your name stamped all over it. Classic RPGs Wizardry VI, VII and VII are here, as is the scary sci-fi masterpiece, System Shock 2 (looking better than the trailer shows thanks to some great patches that come with the game install). You’ll also get the gory adventure chiller, Harvester, I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream (the great Harlan Ellison story that was turned into quite a memorably bleak adventure game experience), More horror with Shadowman, The 7th Guest and The 11th Hour, and finally, the intentionally “buggy” tale of a very unique cockroach in Bad Mojo: Redux $3.49 nets you these nine titles and you’ll get a few weeks or longer out of the Wizardry games alone.

Summer may be coming to a close, but these two deals will make your backlog GROW like it’s spring inside your computer’s hard drive, I say! That goodness can be all yours in a couple of clicks and I don’t want to stop you at all from getting what needs to be done DONE. So, get to it already!

Double Your Bundles, Double Your Fun (And Double Your Backlog!)…

bundle fest logoOkay, I missed yesterday’s Bundle Stars deal in this five days of bundles (or Bundle Fest, as they call it), but that’s not bad news at all as each bundle doesn’t expire for about a week. So today you get two (*smooch!*), TWO times the bundles! First up, it’s The Arctic Bundle, where $2.49 nets you SEVEN complete adventure games including classics like Benoit Sokal’s Syberia and Syberia 2, both Still Life games, Post Mortem and the gorgeous, bizarre Enki Bilal/Benoit Sokal game Nikopol: Secrets of the Immortals. If you love your games packed with puzzles and memorable female characters, this bundle’s for YOU.

Today’s other deal is the Reboot 7.0 Bundle, six Steam games (and a DLC pack for one of those games) that are a nice mix of genres and hybrids. I’m LOUSY at poker, but I see that Runespell: Overture is batting its eyelashes at me and I may groove on over to see what’s up with this oddball RPG that uses poker hand-based combat.

This cool bundle will set you back a measly $1.49 and has a nice set of other action-based games for you to dive into. Okay, now that I’ve hit you over the noggin with too many games, GO GET SOME! I’ll wait here and rest for a bit while you log a few hours of playtime. I could use the vacation…

The call this the Bundle Fest… but I call it the Bundle FEAST because your wallet will be feeding assorted charities and your growing backlog of games won’t be starving for quite some time! Hey, I could do this pun thing all night long you know. But I won’t, as it would keep you here and not over at Bundle Stars racking up some incredible savings on digital games. Okay, get going – I know you’re in the mood for some fun indies, all for a song…

IndieGala NEVER Sleeps! $1.89 For Six Great Games, 24 Hours Only!

every monday bundle 912014

Yikes. Here I am, feeling wonderfully dopey for not being able to get any work don on this holiday and BAM! IndieGala gives me something to write home about. Okay, a few other things happened in my inbox to jar me out of my funk, but I’d forgotten that rain or shine, every Monday IS an IndieGala Monday! Anyway, six games for a measly $1.89 is a STEAL, so go break into the IG bank while net breaking YOUR own bank (or a sweat, unless you’re in a hot place already with no working fan or cold beverages). Speaking of, I need to go turn on MY fan and get a cold something from the fridge (no wonder it’s so HOT in here!) – you go and buy yourself these games and I’ll see you in a bit, mmmm’kay? Good!

The Bundles, The Bundles! The Mondays, The Mondays!

IndieGala 8-25-2014 Happy Monday! Here are two deals you probably shouldn’t pass up if you’re like me and need to feel terrible about having WAY too many games (ha and ha). JUST KIDDING! Actually, I like what’s in both these bundles, but I have enough of the games in both lots to not need to buy them. You’ll see that in a bit when I do some cleaning up of the backlog and duplicates get loose in the wild for anyone with a Steam account to claim. Anyway, this weeks’ IndieGala Every Monday sale above, Humble Flash Sale below. I’m buried in stuff to do today, so click on either link (or both!) to be zapped right to the sites so you can check out these deals on your own time. Which, by the way, you don’t have a lot of to get these deals!

Humble Flash Sale 8-25-2014

Monday Deal: Double Your Bundles, Double Your Backlogs!

indiegala_8_18

We interrupt my Tales of Xillia 2 coma (again!) to let you all know that there are two more indie bundles you should take a look-see at! IndieGala’s Every Monday Sale this week is deviously planning to relieve your wallets of $1.89 for SEVEN cool indie games that are all different (well, save for the expansion pack to Garshasp: The Monster Slayer) and bound to give you hours of fun (or longer if you get into replaying some of the shorter titles. Volt looks pretty nifty, too:

Oh, and that $1.89 price? It’s only good for the first day, so GRAB this deal NOW!

HFB Rhythm

Meanwhile, over at the Humble Bundle site, it’s an all musical game deal they’re offering up in this week’s Humble Flash Sale. I love that this selection of games actually crosses genres, so you get everything from a music-based run & jump fest to a rhythm-based RPG. Click on that link, choose a price you can swing and get some games. As always, with both deals, some of your purchase price goes to charity, so have some guilt-less gaming and get entertained for not much money!

An Eclectic (& Inexpensive For A Day) Mix In This Week’s IndieGala Every Monday Bundle…

IndieGale EMB 8_11

A paltry $1.89 for this week’s set of Steam code delivered indies is a great deal especially when you take into consideration the assortment you’re getting. A bit of space strategy and combat, some retro action games and a funky little game about some poor guy waiting for his late date to arrive as he contemplates life and such:

I’d like to think that Dinner Date is worth that under two clams alone, but I know some you will disagree on that front. I guess it’s a good thing there are six other games in this deal, huh? To wit: Famaze! (it sure looks like fun!):

Anyway, you know what to do – your backlog needs to be bigger than mine so I can feel better about not getting to EVERY game I’d like to this year. Boo, but that’s how it goes in this digital age. Out of sight is NEVER out of mind. Just out of hard drive space (ha and ha)…

BUY IT: Another (Mon)day, Another $1.79 IndieGala Bundle…

IndieGala Monday 8_3_2014

This one’s a no-brainer just because it has a Giana Sisters game on it, but there are a few other indies that make this a fine way to spend that buck seventy-nine. Guise of the Wolf looks like a fine first-person adventure game, I recall Helldorado being a nifty western game with a fun combat system, and everything else I’ve yet to play… but how can you NOT want to try them at this price? Of course, this deal only lasts for the first 24 hours before the bundle price jumps up and scares you out of your wits (a little). So grab these games if your boat has been floated…

IndieGala Monday Time: RPGs, With A Side of Adventure and Old School Platforming

IndieGala Monday 7_28

This week’s IndieGala Every Monday Bundle is quite a doozy. Rogue-like role-playing, point & click adventures, an odd-arty game where you can yell at what you’re playing it on and even some old school run to the left (mostly) and try not to die too much excitement. A buck sixty-nine for the first day, price goes up after that. Six complete games for that price is of course, a STEAL. So don’t sleep on this and wonder too later if you missed out on some cool stuff. Your Monday will get better if you get this bundle, guaranteed…

FREE GAME! Bundle Stars and PC Gamer Magazine Want A Million Of You On The Road!

Carousel-Image-GTR-EVO So, it’s the final week of Bundle Stars and PC Gamer.com HUGE giveaway (five million game codes over five weeks) and this last one’s a doozy if you’re into racing simulations and haven’t played GTR Evolution, Race 07 and RaceRoom Racing Experience yet. Granted, that latter title is a free to play game that to date, only has a solo play component and I know some folks don’t like the idea of a la carte gaming despite its popularity. But the great thing about this FREE deal is you can avoid any game you wish in the deal or try it out and if you don’t like your unpaid-for gift, you can simply delete it from your hard drive and go do something else with that free time. If you want that code, just click on the image below and grab it.

Week5-PCGamer-Campaign

Act FAST, though – free stuff doesn’t last very long if you’re too slow in claiming it!
