Yet another excellent look at what just may be one of the best Wii titles of 2009 as well as one of the best game remakes to date. Yep, this one’s going to be quite a blast in single AND multiplayer.

Atlus Update: Buy Knights in the Nightmare, Get Yggdra Union FREE!
If Knights in the Nightmare coming to the PSP wasn't enough hardcore goodness (actually, greatness), Atlus is sweetening the pot by offering up a VERY cool bonus. For a limited time, all retail and PSN download copies of the game will include a voucher for a FREE download of the complete version of the PSP remake of Yggdra Union. As Princess Yggdra is a bonus playable character in KITN, Atlus is giving players a chance to experience her story in yet another excellent, super-stylized SRPG. I guess I should also let you know that the game's release has slipped a tiny bit to November 9, 2010, but it's not a huge delay (and besides, you're getting TWO games for the price of one here!)…
Sounds like a plan! I'm off to learn just how to pronounce “Yggdra”, as I keep endlessly rolling my g's and end up sounding like a busted Model T engine…

Excellent gameplay footage from Propaganda’s upcoming TRON: Evolution showing off the parkour-inspired navigation and capoeira-influenced combat along with some great light cycle sequences. This one is looking like it’ll be quite a lot of fun to dive into and play.

Earth Defense Force Insect Armageddon Update, Small Version
Yes indeed, the game does exist (yes!) and D3Publisher of America is indeed publishing it. More news to come when D3 is ready to announce it in “the near future” according to my source. No problem at all, folks (as long as it’s NOT a 2017 release, ha ha). 2011 is going to be a very good year for gaming (indeed!).

More Blood Stone 007 trailer coolness here – it’s really looking more and more like an actual Bond film each time. Love the return of the classic silver Aston Martin DB5, the big set pieces and massive Ken Adam-like “sets” where some of the dynamic action sequences take place. November can’t come soon enough…

Power Gig: Rise of the Six String "Volcano Drop" Trailer Promo, Well… Rocks!
Seven45 Studios rather awesomely answers the musical question “Now just what the hell do we DO with all those old guitar controllers?” in this, er…, hot trailer. Power Gig: Rise of the Six String is set to hit retail for the PS3 and Xbox 360 next month. Real or fantastically crafted Internet hoax, the video has sort of cooked up a minor tempest of controversy among some YouTube viewers. Poke around here tomorrow for a gallery and info on the soon to be released PS3/Xbox 360 music game (as well its real guitar controller)…

2K Games CONFIRMS Duke Nukem (Is No Longer Taking) Forever, PAX 2010 Audience Sees Playable Version, Flying Pigs, Hell Freeze Over Simultaneously
Holy “it's about flippin' time!” ladies and gents. Ever since the game was announced back in 1996 I've been having dreams where “Damn, those alien bastards destroyed my ride!” kicked things off and until now, all my hopes of Duke-ing it out with hordes of space pigs, floating heads and other uglies while hoping I've enough dollar bills to see digitized naughty bits have been smashed (smashed, I say!) by all sorts of obstacles for a few PC and console generations.
PAX attendees, however, are getting one of the gaming shocks of this century (so far) as 2K Games has not only confirmed DUKE NUKEM FOREVER exists, it's PLAYABLE (well, to those over 17, that is).

Yup, that was a pig. Flying. Shocking indeed. But Gearbox rocks (and they can make a damn good FPS) , so I'm happy as a pig in.. well, you know… Press release below, by the way.

I forgot to post these with my Heroes Del Ring hands-on a few days back, so here you go:
Shots of the rather awesome pre-order Luchador masks GameStop is giving away exclusively (one per customer) to those who plunk down a deposit. Very cool indeed and a well-made premium, to boot. If I'm not mistaken, they're made from nice and stretchy polyester (one size fits all unless you've a really tiny or really HUGE head) with vinyl detailing. They also lace up in the back like the actual masks for that extra touch of authenticity.
