I was going to post this tomorrow or later, but I see you all did something good today and you deserve a reward. What, you thought I was going to rent more buses and take you all to the movies like last time? Ha! I learned my lesson from that debacle. Half of you got on the wrong buses and ended up in the wrong states and that was a bit TOO brain-melting to deal with what with all those phone calls I had to take and make. Anyway, I’m sticking to more arty gifts from now on. Less stress and you can’t complain, get ill from eating too much (well, art shouldn’t be eaten unless it’s made to be eaten!) or stick it somewhere it doesn’t belong. You’re welcome, by the way!

Well, this was a spur of the moment piece where I just sat down and started fiddling and fidgeting the mouse around until I had a general idea of where I wanted to go before changing my mind and just playing it by ear until I stopped. There’s a second piece I’ll run in a day or so. It’s a “companion” of sorts, as the title is the same and it’s kind of an odd bookend. Of course, If I do a third piece that’s similar, there goes the whole bookend thing, huh? Stay tuned…

But that’s a good thing, I guess. This one popped out of the brain with no idea where it wanted to head when I sat down to work on it and it probably needs some tinkering. I don’t like reworking stuff after it’s “done” so I don’t think I’ll touch this again. But I’ve been busy with a few things like playing some betas of games upcoming (*cough!* The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II *cough!*), and working on a few sets of interview questions for assorted people on assorted topics. Meh, I’ve been a bit busy working on some stuff and riding out these last miserable days of winter, but here you go. This didn’t take me too long to do at all and in fact, like most of my trees, isn’t really “complete.” I just stop when I think I’m about to destroy something with another few lines and that’s that. Well, that’s it for this week. I may get another sketch up sooner. Or later. Depending on work I need to get done versus time I have to sketch up something.

Hmmmm. This winter has been more annoying than previous ones for a few reasons, but at least I’m getting some revenge of a sort on this stupid weather. You get not one, but TWO trees to ogle this week (whee), thanks to me being a bit under the weather (ha ho) yesterday and needing to burn off a few mental calories. Wait, there are mental calories? Well… there are NOW. Hmmm. I need to stop talking to myself in these posts, as it sounds as if I have a few people in the room half the time I’m posting stuff. Some Creative Distraction Thanks To Random Tree Time…

Yeah, I’m still working on some actual posts, but they’re in assorted stages of completion. I’ve had a few ideas change shape as I go over notes, which is both good and bad. Anyway, here’s another tree to ogle. I did this while waiting for a small download to finish and with a game playing in the background. Multitasking is a sort of specialty, I guess. Then again, I know folks who do it better and faster. And better.

Eh, I’m working on it people, I’m working on it. That’s the problem with having a working brain and far too many ideas pumping out of it. I need some clones with more focus. At least I’m not watching the Oscars this year. I’m much to preoccupied to pay attention to much other than what I’m trying to get done with this site. Think world domination without the craziness of a dictator and on a much smaller scale.

Heck, If I can get my laundry done more regularly, that’s a huge start. Off to sort some underwear and socks – back in a bit…

Yes, I know it’s not Thursday yet, but I have an excuse or two handy for this one. I was cooking dinner earlier and as I was waiting for some water to boil for pasta, I started randomly doodling away in MS Paint and the next thing you know, I got this out of it. I was going to save this for Thursday’s tree picture, but figured I’d drop in in now because my post count is so low this month. Yes, I still have a bunch of posts to bang out, but I forgot February is only 28 days (oops) and it looks like some of that stuff will gently slide into the first week of March. Eh, I may as change the name of this non-feature to “Tree of the Week” or something corny like that. We’ll see…

So, shhhhhh! Shut up and enjoy the view, already. Yeah, it’s still winter out. Yuck. If I’m not buried under a pile of stuff, maybe there’s a picture coming next week. We’ll see. At least the forecast is shaking it up a bit. Instead of cold and snow tomorrow, it’s going to be in the 40’s and raining most of the day. Won-derful.
