Back In A Bit (Disturbing Clown Version)…

I’m working on a few updates, non-DAF stuff and such, so I’ll be back later tonight/tomorrow with some previews and reviews I’ve been meaning to get done (among other things). Here’s a picture of Twisted Metal’s Sweet Tooth I did a long time ago for a magazine cover. Remember, clowns aren’t scary, kids… it’s who’s behind the mask you need to worry about. In the case of this one, if you see any clown driving a tricked out ice cream truck… don’t wave it down or YOU’LL be the one in the freezer. Just hope he doesn’t spot you running for cover, as that truck has got a few tricks up it’s sleeve…

Update: More Random Art!

I’ve been on a bit of a creative streak outside of writing, in case you’re wondering about the lack of updates. I’m still working on reviews and such (PSN being down has been a pain) and will have a bunch up shortly. Meanwhile, meet Maggie McGree. Her other friends (old and new) are hanging out here.

More Random Art

Swamp Thing in “normal” and 8-bit forms thanks to more intermittent fooling around with MS paint during a few minutes of downtime this week – now, back to the updates!

Random Art II: Bloodrayne Halloween Sketch

I did this piece a few years back for fun – the original is probably hanging in an PR office somewhere or socked away somewhere safe… one of these days I’ll get to drawing on a more regular basis.

Random Art: Playing Around With MS Paint…

Had a bit of Internet downtime around here a few days ago, so I started playing around with drawing for a few hours using markers for one piece and Microsoft Paint (which I generally hate) for the rest. Anyway, as I haven’t drawn in a while with standard pens or pencils, I wasn’t expecting much, but the piece came out OK. Using a mouse was a bit more time consuming, but I think I did pretty good for my first ever MS Paint efforts.

Here’s what I came up with, in case you’re interested:*

Now, guess which one was hand drawn (it’s pretty obvious, actually) and which were done in Paint!

* These and other works are on my Facebook page, so some of you folks may have seen ’em already.
