It’s a damn shame Bizarre is gone for good. One of the key studios of the last 15 years shuts down due to a business decision as if it’s a TV show that got bad ratings. Anyway, ths guys I’ve met at the studio as a few press events were some of the nicest folks and ALWAYS proud of their work. Best of luck to you all in finding new work out there…

With former movie powerhouse studio MGM now pushing up daisies (they'll be sorely missed), the future of the James Bond series on film seems bleak at best. On the other hand, what could be the final product to bear that familiar Leo the Lion logo is a pretty solid licensed game that looks and feels like one of the recent Bond films in the series. Blood Stone 007 isn't supposed to be some sort of amazingly groundbreaking game that will send you over the moon from the moment you touch the controller (and shame on you if you look at EVERY game you play in this manner). Nevertheless, what the game does right it nails near perfectly. It's exactly what an interactive movie experience should be in terms of making you feel as if you're watching a film while letting you control the action as the story elements push you forward.
More Blood Stone 007 trailer coolness here – it’s really looking more and more like an actual Bond film each time. Love the return of the classic silver Aston Martin DB5, the big set pieces and massive Ken Adam-like “sets” where some of the dynamic action sequences take place. November can’t come soon enough…
Could Bizarre Creations' upcoming Bond game be the best one made this generation (well, next to the remake of Goldeneye 007)? Well, I don't have a clue, but it's sure looking pretty damn good. A few new images to ogle are below.
