I like the PlayStation Talents program, as it’s been bringing a few games to players from quite a few indie developers in Spain that might otherwise be ignored in a market crowded with new releases every week. Survival Horror fans have a new game to look at with Dawn of Fear, from indie team Brok3nsite. Take a look at this trailer and get the warn and fuzzy zombies coming after you feeling once more:
Here’s a little bit about the game – screenshots are below.
Madrid, January 21st. – Sony Interactive Entertainment Spain (SIE Spain) is pleased to announce that Dawn of Fear, a PS4-exclusive game developed by Spanish studio Brok3nsite, will be released on February 3rd. The game, part of the PlayStation®Talents initiative, was developed at the Valencia PlayStation®Games Camp and will be released digitally in the PlayStation®Store.
Dawn of Fear pays tribute to survival horror classics such as Silent Hill or the first Resident Evil. Alex, a troubled young boy with an obscure past, returns home to find that his stepmother has been using dark forces to call upon an army of creatures from the underworld. Now, it’s his chance to clean his house of these evil powers once and for all!
Okay, maybe NOT so warm or fuzzy, what with the undead coming at you, but you know what I mean, right? A review code request has been placed, so let’s see if Brok3nsite can scare me under the bed. Back with more shortly.
