Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, the upcoming HD reworking of the PlayStation 2 classic looks as if it will introduce a new and larger legion of fans to the game when it ships out for PS4, PS3 and Vita on June 7, 2016. While North Amrican PS4 owners looking to collect the most omake luck out big time with the limited Storybook Edition at $79.99, PS4, PS3, and Vita-only owners in NA who pre-order can score a softcover version of that hardcover 64-page art book in the Storybook Edition.
It’s safe to say Atlus is hoping quite a lot of Sony fans grab this game and discover (or rediscover) its gorgeous visuals, highly challenging gameplay and solid replay value. Collector’s edition content aside, this isn’t a game to keep sealed on your shelf at all. Buy it play it and bug Atlus to to get out a proper Princess Crown remake that’s also in HD and on every Sony platform. That long-forgotten gem is one of those games that deserves a second life on a more modern set of systems.
