I figure I may as well run these now, as I’ve finally watched them all and can safely say that this might indeed be a VERY cool show and even better than I was thinking. I still HATE the illiterate “syfy” re-branding (and NO, it’s not the “same” as sci-fi, which as I noted a while back, was reviled when the late Forrest J. Ackerman thought up that abbreviation), but I’m gathering no one but me is bitching about it these days…

Granted, it’s probably going to still be a rocky transition to the game and vice versa among the more jaded viewers who think ALL games based on or around movies and TV shows are crap. However, I think if those people have seen these behind the scenes peeks, they may actually change their minds a bit.

Hopefully… As always, we shall see. Defiance premieres on April 15, 2013 on syfy and on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 two weeks earlier on April 2, 2013. With all the hard work that’s gone on for a while on both projects, this should be an interesting ride, that’s for sure…
