Wow, Luigi’s Got Some Mad Skills. I Wonder If He Can Make Games, Too?

Ah, ha-ha… *ahem!* OK, I’ll stop kicking Nintendo in the shins and say, YES, I will be buying that Legend of Zelda Windwaker HD remake later this year when it comes out along with Watch_Dogs and maybe The Wonderful 101 (although it’s not doing well in Japan, according to a few import sites that report sales figures) and Call of Duty: Ghosts (for the novelty of playing on that GamePad), but other than that, it’s pretty much collecting a few older Wii U titles from that launch window I missed out on now that they’re a lot cheaper. And in some cases a LOT cheaper than they should be so soon in the system’s life…

Granted, I also know the better titles are on the way for the console, but it’s getting to the point where more people I speak to who own the system or want to buy one are wishing Nintendo had certain other key games at launch or arriving THIS year instead of keeping us on a tether and hoping we’ll sit tight and maybe buy more 3DS titles instead. Sure, that works to a point, but it’s a bad thing for the less powerful system to keep getting so many good and great games while the shiny new system for the big glass eye in the living room is collecting dust UNLESS you’re a heavy user that’s burning through that eShop buying stuff left and right.

The again, even if you WERE, there’s not a hell of a lot there on the demo front (yeah, yeah, many developers hate making demos) and the rest are digital versions of retail games, a handful of indie titles and not much else UNLESS you’re hanging out in the Miiverse chatting up others. Well, the Art Academy thing looks cool, but I need that on a disc in a case, as I don’t chat online or hang out much other than to get on, get an update and get off (I’m a busy guy!). Anyway, back to Luigi and his skills. I say the guy needs a new hobby, so hopefully the next video I see is him hard at work making something like a Super Mario RPG sequel or maybe something completely unexpected that will blow Wii U owners and non-owners away.
