It’s almost too bad the Vita didn’t launch with this title, as it’s a new IP that introduces a character any gamer will love as well as shows off what the system can do quite well. Thankfully, this trailer shows off some of those cool things quite nicely. I’ll try to jam in a review at some point this month, but no promises, as it’s a bit hectic at the moment. For now, however, I’m absolutely recommending you check this one out if your Vita has been feeling lonely or you’re thinking about the system and want another definitive killer app that’s pure fun from the moment you pick it up and start playing…

well, now I just got the PSP.. the PS Vita is gonna have to wait..
any recommendations of what you need to have for the PSP though? ;D

I think you’ll like some of the “retro” collections: Sega Genesis Collection, Metal Slug Anthology, EA Replay, Midway Arcade Treasures Extended Play and Atari Classics Evolved (for starters). You have Castelvania: The Dracula X Chronicles, correct?
As for original games, Crush, Lumines, Lumines II, Every Extend Extra, Gunpey, Metal Slug XX, Patapon (and the two sequels), and a bunch more should keep you busy. I know you’re not much into RPGs, but you’re a Final Fantasy fan, so there are some FF remakes for the PSp that are pretty cool, as well as some PSP-only titles that you may find fun (some aren’t RPGs at all). I’d also say weird fun stuff like Tokobot and Gurumin might be appealing because they’re not “traditional” RPGs at all and feel more like old-school games in some ways…
There should be some free demos on PSN that you can try out if you decide to get an account, so definitely do so (provided you have a big enough memory card to fit stuff onto).
Feel free to poke around my PSP gallery here and ask and Q’s about stuff you see that’s interesting:

Hmmm… I actually need to add a new photo soon, as I’ve gotten some more games since I took those pics (oops)…
