Yuk. So, I’m a bit under the weather today thanks to too many people in a few places I drop into for some wi-fi time being too generous with their germs. Bleh. I hate having a cold or whatever this is in such nice weather, but I’ll need to resist the temptation to start carrying around a paddle to whack those public sneezers and wheezers on the back of their head while telling them to stay the hell home if they’re not feeling well. Especially when there’s a table full of them all yakking about their symptoms and what meds they’re taking while still under the spell of what’s laying them low…

Feh. People USED to sit in bed and call their other sick friends at home (or just hang out under the blankets with the TV on and some decent chicken soup… now they just have to share the social aspect of their colds and flu with others in public spaces who don’t need the aggravation and downtime. ANYWAY, grrrr. Here’s some random artwork I did (above), as since I’ve been laid up today, I’ve been playing around a little with that PS3 uDraw Art Tablet I bought a few days back, the PC hack for it and The GIMP art program. Yeah, it’s a dirt simple piece of “art”, but hey – my brain isn’t up to doing much in the way of detail work. Well, I thought it was, but the results were a bit of unfinished MS Paint madness:

“The sleep of reason…” and all that stuff (or something like that). Speaking of sleep… I’m going back to bed for a bit. If I come up for air at some point, perhaps I’ll post something more enjoyable later tonight. I do have a post target to reach this month, you know. Off to beat these borrowed germs into submission – wish me luck!
