Or you know one who’d kick you out of their workout cave if you gifted them with one just to push their buttons a tiny bit. Although, if that peson can bench press your current weight, I’d not want to push those buttons so hard.

  1. Order now and pay only $19.99 for this amazingly futile waste of wood. Give us your bank account number and an additional $40 processing and handling, and you can have two, one for each foot that should be inserted into your mouth before you pick up that phone.

    • Heh. Althouuuuugh to be fair, I’ve seen these on sale in all sorts of places for not as much money (and with no shipping charges). Anyone who buys ANYTHING from a TV ad because they think it’ll work as advertised should get a free brain exam, stat. Then buy a brain hat from a novelty company and wear it. 😛

      • It seems a bit unfair to honest product makers to say ALL “as seen on TV” products will fail. It’s the ads and payment system that’s the most fishy.

      • Oh, I know someone who buys a LOT that stuff as a sort of social experiment and out of everything he’s paid for, maybe half a dozen things out of a hundred have actually worked as advertised. I can rattle off a list of total garbage that MAY have been well designed as a prototype. But once it gets through the factories in wherever they get made, it’s an inferior product. Microtouch? doesn’t cut, it rips hair out (Ouch!) Aeroknife? Bad blade design and not as sharp as a good knife you’d not buy on TV. The list goes on and on, but I will say he’s been happy with most of the Popeil products he’s purchased and that’s thanks to the company being nicer to deal with.
