Hmmm. Some fans like the old “cheap” look of the show’s visual effects, but I think that as long as the effect team is making things look more polished overall, it’s even better for the Doctor and company this season. Hell, the show has a long way to go before it approaches the pure CGInsanity of a massive Hollywood blockbuster, so I’m not worried at all about much other than how good the entire story arc will turn out.
