Well, I still have a few more (well, a lot more) pics to take of the collection, but here’s a quick peek at some of what’s coming once I find the time to get everything down and photographed. Yes, I COULD have done the US Sega Saturn and Sega CD stuff when I did the Jaguar/Lynx games a while back, but I got busy right afterward tackling another project and haven’t been able to get to that other stuff since. It’ll get done, don’t worry…

I recently started collecting Sega CD and Sega Saturn games and because of this I can really appreciate yours. Look at those case hinges! They’re not broken… it’s really amazing 🙂
These games are expensive to buy and hard to find in good shape. I might bail out on collecting them.
The more I read your blog the more I realize you’re really into pretty much all gaming systems!
One of your images in this post reminded me that I also have a lot of GBA games. About 30 I think and they are all complete and in excellent shape. I thought about selling them but after checking ebay it seems like they’re not worth all that much. I might just hold on to them for trade.
Where did you get that Sega box? The one that looks like Chinese talk-out. Did a product come in it or was is some promotional thing?

Oh, a few of the SCD/SAT cases have cracks in them and I think there’s busted hinge or two in that stack from a big move a long while ago. I’ve sold off quite a few SCD and Saturn games over the years, and yes, i can tell you packing them was a project in and of itself. I shipped them boxed and packed so you could dropkick the package at it would arrive in perfect condition (except for the shoe print on the box).
Some GBA games are worth a bit if they’re certain genres, but yeah, the market has softened a lot over the years. I used to have about 80 or so original GB games and a lot more GBC/GBA games, all boxed, but I needed to make room and it was tough deciding what to let go…
That Sega box (yes, it is a Chinese food box!) was from a press event about 3 or so years ago and had a blue & white striped scarf with the Sega logo embroidered on it. I don’t have the scarf any longer, but the box is still here.
It will take a while, but I’ll post pics of the systems I still have here at some point. I sold off a huge amount of games over the years, but kept most of the consoles and handhelds around in case I wanted to get back into stuff I wasn’t playing…
